Position Description

Lubbock, Texas - Seeking a BC/BE Palliative Care physician. Full-time position. Mix of outpatient and inpatient care. Opportunity to teach, if desired. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits, including signing bonus and relocation allowance. Experienced provider preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply. Ideal candidate will be clinically outstanding, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate high levels of caring and empathy, and will be interested in building a long-term career with Covenant Health. Duties include comprehensive symptom management, discussions related to patients' values and goals of care, emotional and spiritual support, and advanced care planning. Enjoy a healthy work / life balance in the friendly community of Lubbock while caring for a medically fragile patient population.
