Responsibilities
Morristown Medical Center, a 650-bed teaching hospital and northern New Jersey-based branch campus of Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, is seeking a general internist to join the faculty of Internal Medicine Faculty Associates (IMFA).
This established primary care academic practice merges the ambulatory practices of the Department of Medicine faculty and Internal Medicine residency in a state-of-the-art office suite. The faculty member will precept residents and medical students as well as participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
The position will involve precepting, lectures, didactic teaching, and participation in scholarly activities within our new X+Y curriculum. The successful candidate will maintain a private practice in the integrated resident-faculty practice with the option of participating in health services research.
Work with and teach Internal Medicine Residents
Provides comprehensive medical services to patients
Perform essential duties and responsibilities as role of primary care physician
Diagnose and prescribe medical treatments.
Deliverance of quality clinical care
Work in an established practice in Morristown
Qualifications
Experienced physicians
Qualified candidates must be interested in working with and teaching internal medicine residents
Must board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
