Job Summary:
Whoever holds this position will providepatient care oversight and manage staffing, quality of care and regulatory requirements for both our Home Care and Hospice programs. This person will be responsible for Quality Improvement initiatives and the direction of clinical education and competency. This person will also serve as mentor to nurses and identify growth opportunities and educational needs. Direct reports include as follows: Home Health & Hospice RNs, LPNs, MSWs, Chaplains and Dietician.
Will cover for the Administrator in her absence.
Qualifications:
BSN degree; Masters preferred
Two years experience in healthcare; one year in home health and/or hospice nursing
Two years' management experience
Possesses current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the state of Colorado
Adept at medical record documentation and Microsoft programs
