The Medisys Health Network is seeking a faculty physician for both Jamaica Hospital & Flushing Hospital Medical Centers. We are an urban, inner-city community healthcare network located in Queens, NY. We are an ACGME, 6-Fellow accredited program, affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and NYITCOM. This faculty attending position includes direct patient care covering of our inpatient and ambulatory palliative care consult service and our inpatient Hospice units. This position also includes the teaching of Fellows, Residents, Medical Students, scholarly work, and clinical leadership within the program.
Board certification in a primary specialty
Board-certification or Board-eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or other comparable experience
Exemplary communication and leadership skills
