Summary

This is a PRN As Needed position on a busy inpatient unit that serves patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, including: A&D, GI, renal, pulmonary, ortho, hospice, and oncology.


We are seeking PRN RNs with recent acute care nursing experience.

**Must have one year RN experience in Med Surg area for PRN position.**

Will be scheduled for 12-hour shifts based on the needs of the unit including weekends.


This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Experience

Required: At least 12 months experience as an RN in Med/Surg area.

Certifications

Required: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. American Heart Association issued BLS certification. ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire date. CPI to be obtained during Hospital Orientation.
