Job Summary This is a full-time professional position. The Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician provides assistance in the maintenance of appropriate medical policies and standards to meet agency, state, federal and accreditation requirements. This position will assist in providing Palliative Care Consultation and hospice care to patients in the hospital setting.  This position will provide direct patient care on an ongoing basis. This position will work with the Medical Director of Inpatient Palliative Medicine to educate hospital staff and community physicians about palliative care, pain and symptom management, communication around end of life decision making, and other programs available within Transitions LifeCare.
