Provide competent psychosocial care to patients admitted to the hospital and to outpatients in the community. Organize and facilitate support group(s) as needed that respond to the needs of the cancer community. Serve as Social Worker on Palliative Care Team and participate in the working/steering committee of the Palliative Care Program.

Education:

• Master's Degree Social Work

Experience:

• 1 year Social Work practice. Individual, group, counseling experience.

Training/License:

• N.Y.S. Social Work Certification

Other:

• Strong communication skills (oral and written). Organizational ability, computer competence.
