Adventist Health Castle seeks a mission-minded full-time, Float Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidates will be team-oriented, flexible, and enjoy working as an integral part of a close-knit Nurse Practitioner team, dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care, providing vacation coverage. The incumbents maintain responsibility for providing expert care in various service lines predominantly for primary, and urgent care clinics. Additional specialty Float coverage includes, but is not limited to cardiology, pre-operative, and other service lines as needed. Float coverage does not include gastroenterology, obstetrics-gynecology, and oncology. Selectees will provide comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions, and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans, and implements interventions. There is no practice call coverage. Practice settings are outpatient, including homebound patients.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master???s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty. Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority that meets education requirement(s) for Hawaii state APRN prescriptive authority. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years nurse practitioner experience or equivalent nursing experience in an outpatient setting. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to travel to homebound patients as assigned.

Hawaii medical licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital???s medical staff credentialing standards.

Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years NP experience or equivalent in primary care in an outpatient setting. Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (FNP-BC) or Adult Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (ANP-BC).
