The role you’ll contribute:

Under the direction of the Director Surgical Services, the OR Nurse Manager is a clinical position with responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the surgery department. This leader will adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, federal agencies and accrediting bodies. All duties are performed in accordance with established departmental and Hospital policies and procedures. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, while implementing the Service Standards and Values of AdventHealth.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum two years acute care nursing practice experience upon hire
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required upon hire
• Two years of supervision experience required upon hire
• Active Florida RN or ARNP license required upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
• Current NIHSS certification upon hire.
