Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Medicine 

White Plains Hospital, located in Westchester, NY is a regional leader in providing outstanding clinical care, state-of-the-art facilities, and a superior patient experience.  This is an excellent opportunity for an NP to join our highly collegial Palliative Medicine team. We have full time and part time opportunities.

 The Nurse Practitioner we are seeking will provide clinical management & support, education and development primarily in the hospital setting as part of the Palliative Medicine Service. The NP may function between the in-patient service and the outpatient cancer center program at the request /direction of the Palliative Medicine Director.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school. Current NYS RN license, current NYS certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Adult or Family) and current ACHPN certification in hospice and palliative nursing as an advanced practice nurse.  Maintains a current collaborative practice agreement. Minimum two years in an acute care setting. Core Competencies Clinical proficiency. Ability to multi-task, teamwork adaptability, strong communication skills, problem solving skills, planning and organization skills and good attention to detail are all required. New graduates in 2022 or recent graduates are welcome to apply.
