Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) in beautiful Kailua, is actively seeking a mission-minded, inpatient Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will be exceedingly skilled and experienced in working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality, patient-centered, individualized clinical care to meet the needs of patients and their families. Primary responsibilities include inpatient services, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships, and communication with the patient, family, interdisciplinary team, consulting physicians, and community partners and resources. The successful candidate will be compassionate, empathetic, team-oriented, and have a passion for palliative care.

Minimum Qualifications:Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master???s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty. Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority that meets education requirement(s) for Hawaii state APRN prescriptive authority. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years nurse practitioner experience or equivalent nursing experience. Prefer three (3) years NP experience or equivalent in primary care in an outpatient setting. Recent palliative care experience preferred.

Candidates must be Hawaii medical licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital???s medical staff credentialing standards.
