This employed position in a financially sound hospital includes an optional nursing home medical directorship.Opportunity: Inpatient duties include low volume admissions caring for a mostly senior adult population in a hospital with 8 acute and 18 swing beds; and admitting patients to the skilled nursing facility, and providing medical clearance for patients admitted to the 26-bed geriatric-psychiatric unit, all located on the same campus After-hours call is typically managed by phone; there is no ER or ICU at the hospital See 30 patients per week in the outpatient primary care clinic, approximately 16 hours per week
