Texas Health Physicians Group includes over 1,000 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and medical professionals dedicated to providing safe, quality care for our patients. Through THPG, Texas Health Resources is more than just a network of hospitals – it is now a full health system with the opportunity to provide unparalleled healthcare coverage to North Texans. Patients benefit from improved safety, better outcomes and increased efficiencies that can happen when all parts of the health care system work in close collaboration.

Texas Health Physicians Group has received the prestigious Medicus Integra© Award. The Coalition for Physician Well-Being award is based upon the belief that physician resilience and well-being is not only good for physicians but is conducive to healthy organizational culture and essential to quality patient care. THPG is only the 10th organization in the nation to receive this award.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton is a 255-bed hospital serving Denton and the surrounding communities in North Texas. Texas Health Denton is certified as a chest pain center by the Joint Commission and is an accredited member of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. It serves as a Primary Stroke Center as certified by the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association and designated by the Texas Department of State Health Services. The hospital offers advanced neonatal care, houses Denton’s only designated Level III NICU, and was named the “Best Place to Have a Baby” and the “best Place for Childbirth Education” in Denton County by North Texas Child magazine readers.

Denton, Texas is a growing community just north of Dallas and Fort Worth. While in Denton, you will notice a small-town feel, but houses two universities and more than 50,000 students. Denton has a vibrant art and music scene and is one of the top 25 fastest-growing cities in the country and was ranked the No. 1 Best Small Town in America by Rand McNally and USA Today in 2012. Denton County was recently named #1 Strongest Economic Growth Forecast in U.S. over next 5-years, according to CBS’s Moneywatch and the Dallas Morning News.
