The Jamaica Hospital Palliative Care Fellowship Program is an ACGME-accredited program designed to train physicians who are committed to improving comfort and quality of life for patients and families facing life-limiting illness. The program places emphasis on providing culturally sensitive care to our diverse patient population, taking into account cultural and spiritual views on health, illness and the end-of-life. It is hoped that Fellows who have completed the program will remain within the hospital’s vicinity and that they will continue to provide personalized, comprehensive and culturally sensitive palliative care to our community’s patients.
