MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Vascular and Wound Center located in Mason City, Iowa.

• Procedural rooms for all venous interventions and wound
• The vascular center has a vascular lab for all noninvasive vascular testing
• Dedicated hyperbaric rooms with 2 chambers
• 2 Ultrasound rooms on site
• Our vascular staff is experienced and assists in all venous procedures
• MercyOne Vascular and Wound Center is the only comprehensive wound and hyperbaric service for more than 90 miles

MercyOne Vascular and Wound Center has an established referral base and draws from a 15-county network of about 260,000 across northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. The Vascular and Wound Center houses the hospital's two Hyperbaric Chambers and all other wound care equipment and staff in one centralized space, including ultrasound capability in the department. The Wound Center is an outpatient program that focuses on chronic and non-healing wounds. Using advanced treatment modalities and a case management model, we help patients improve the quality of their lives. In partnership with physicians, certified wound nurses, and multiple medicine disciplines, we provide invaluable care for patients.

Requirements for this opportunity include:

• Graduate of a Masters of Nursing Program or an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Successful completion of certification/boards
• Current licensure in the State of Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant
• Certification in wound care required
• Must be able to obtain MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center medical staff privileges
• Excellent verbal and written skills are required, including ability to work with a team
