OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

IHA has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a hospitalist group at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston located in Howell, Michigan.

The selected provider will be responsible for admissions, hospitalist type work, physician orders and nursing calls, and will collaborate with the physician and other health care professionals to provide medical services including direct patient care, medical record documentation and follow-up care to IHA Hospital Medicine patients. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan.

The schedule for this full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity includes 188 afternoon and night shifts annually.

Minimum required qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited NP/PA program
  • NP/PA Certification
  • NP candidates must be acute-care educated & trained
  • State of Michigan License
