Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) and Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) have an excellent full-time, employed opportunity for a Sleep Medicine physician to join an established practice located in Boise, Idaho. 

Join three Sleep physicians and 3 APPs in this full spectrum Sleep Medicine practice serving pediatrics and adults in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho, along with outreach locations in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon.

The SAMG Sleep Medicine physicians are responsible for reading sleep studies generated through hospital-based sleep labs at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa in Nampa, Idaho. Opportunities exist for expanded sleep study support through partnership with Saint Alphonsus' Ontario and Baker City facilities.

With the increasing demand for sleep services, our program continues to develop a regional approach within the Saint Alphonsus Health System. Examples of our innovative and strategic approaches include forming partnerships with local employers, other sleep specialists, and other medical disciplines within the four hospital, 74 clinic Saint Alphonsus network and general community. Opportunities for public and professional education, and medical teaching are also available.

The schedule for this full-time opportunity is weekdays, Monday through Thursday. There is no call required.

Requirements for this opportunity include:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of a Sleep Medicine fellowship program
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Sleep Medicine
• An additional area of expertise preferred
• Experience practicing the full spectrum of Sleep Medicine
• Obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise, SAMC-Nampa, SAMC-Ontario, and SAMC-Baker City as needed
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy & DEA
