OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Holy Cross Health Partners and Holy Cross Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our Kensington Partners Community Health Center, an established Health Center located in Kensington, Maryland.

Holy Cross Health Partners provides primary medical care in a culturally competent manner to a medically underserved, low income, uninsured patient population.  The Staff Physician is responsible for managing the diagnosis and efficient and effective treatment of Health Center patients to include a therapeutic health service that focuses on health restoration, health maintenance and disease prevention.  Our physicians provide patient exams and consultations striving to reach 10 patient visits per four-hour session. The provider will assist with increasing volume, new patient visits and RVU goals. The provider will participate in after-hours coverage as appropriate.

The Staff Physician is responsible for participating in the Center's Quality Performance Improvement program. The Staff Physician also advises management on clinical matters and the results of any external audits, clinical quality problems and the progress of quality improvement efforts.  The Staff Physician maintains in compliance with Federal, State, and Local health care regulations as well as the Joint Commission standards.

The selected provider will possess three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably within a community health center serving culturally diverse and underserved patient populations as well as a minimum of two years of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership. Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) is highly desirable. The selected provider will also have experience in the development and management of quality, risk, and utilization review processes with demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Spanish speaking is strongly preferred, but not required and preference will be shown to candidates who are bilingual.

Holy Cross Health Partners are Primary Care sites owned and operated by Holy Cross Health, with locations throughout Montgomery County. These practices specialize in internal medicine for a primarily adult population and include physicians with geriatric medicine training and expertise.

Holy Cross Health Partners strives to build healthy communities, through engagement and action, throughout Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. The programs and services we provide take the mission of the health system outside the walls of the hospitals and go beyond clinical care to improve the health of the community?especially for those most vulnerable. To achieve this goal, we focus on health equity, prevention, and self-management and develop and support strategies that are sustainable through policy, system and environmental changes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Medicine physician to join Holy Cross Health Center.

  • Malpractice
  • CME allowance & time off
