ECU Health Physicians and The Service League of Greenville Hospice House located in Greenville, NC are seeking a nurse practitioner to join their Hospice and Palliative Care team. Applicants with Hospice experience are preferred. New graduates will be considered.

• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
• Growing 9-hospital healthcare system including a 974-bed level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, North Carolina
• Established hospice team includes: 1 physician, and 1 advanced practice provider, RN’s, social workers, and chaplains
• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p schedule with shared call
• Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association

Responsibilities will include:

• Serve as lead Advanced Practice Provider support for the hospice house
• Participate in professional and community education and marketing events
• Collaborate with community referring physicians and organizations
• Manage patient care of inpatient and home hospice patients
• Perform clinical rounds on hospice inpatient unit
• Conduct and participate in family meetings
• Perform and document face to face assessments for hospice certification and recertification
• Interface with palliative and hospice teams and participate in collaborative activities
