OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Mercy Health Physician Partners (MHPP) is seeking a full-time, or part-time (prorated on call), Anesthesiologist to join our North Ottawa Community Hospital anesthesia team located in Grand Haven, Michigan.

The physician will join a professional, confident, and friendly team of 20 physicians. We practice a care team model, providing medical direction over CRNAs. However, there is still an opportunity to personally perform anesthesia. We cover a range of cases including orthopedic, gynecology, urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology.

North Ottawa Community Hospital is a Level 4 community hospital with four operating rooms, one equipped with a Da Vinci robot, and two endoscopy room suites. We have dedicated time to improving the efficiency of the OR and the quality of care for our patients.

We utilize peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques to reach enhanced recovery goals with our surgical colleagues. Candidates are expected to be proficient or will be trained to perform many of the basic peripheral nerve blocks (e.g., popliteal, saphenous, adductor canal, erector spinae, TAP, brachial plexus blocks etc.)

Call and holidays are shared among the group in a manner that creates individual hourly and compensation flexibility.

Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within two years of becoming board eligible. A State of Michigan license is required at the time of employment, along with a DEA license and ACLS and BLS certifications.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right Anesthesiologist to join a highly skilled and experienced team.
