Nurse Practitioner (Emergency Department)
The Nurse Practitioner works effectively with other health care providers and interdisciplinary health care teams to deliver quality care for patients in the emergency department at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. The ED NP is responsible and accountable for providing, and assuring provision of direct patient centered care to individuals that present via EMS or as walk in to the Emergency Department. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
