The neurohospitalist position involves direct patient care for patients admitted to the hospital directly to the neurology service. The position also serves as consultant for patients admitted to services. They will work daily with trainees including students and residents from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, such that experience with and commitment to clinician education is mandatory. Administrative effort toward maintaining and improving quality of inpatient care is expected.
