The University of Washington (UW) Premera Rural Nursing Health Initiative (RNHI) ARNP Fellowship is for recent graduates (with less than 18 months experience) from an accredited Masters or Doctor of Nursing Practice Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program, board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the start of the program.  This paid *12-month intensive training program is intended to enhance professional competency and confidence of recently graduated ARNPs who are passionate about rural primary care. UW Premera RNHI has partnered with the following rural primary care organizations to deliver a robust, collaborative post graduate PMHNP fellowship program: 

• Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH) in Port Angeles, WA (PMHNP) *2-year commitment
• Psychiatric Nurse Consulting & Therapy LLC (PNCT) in Mount Vernon, WA (PMHNP) 
• Smart Moves Integrated Health Services in Ilwaco, WA (PMHNP and FNP)

• supportive transition to rural primary care practice with faculty mentors and the University of Washington School of Nursing Premera RNHI Grant Team providing support as the 'hub'
• weekly didactic sessions with expert clinicians / faculty - learning alongside an interdisciplinary cohort of ARNP fellows (FNPs and AGNPs, along with PMHNPs)
• specialty rotations to expand / deepen knowledge
• skill development workshops in Seattle 
• twice monthly well-being sessions with a PMHNP facilitator - for professional development and to build resiliency

Submit one application - those who apply may choose to be considered for any/all of the sites you're eligible for (NOTE: this is not a rotation between sites; fellows will be paid employees of one rural site and will benefit from participating in weekly online didactics and skills training with an interdisciplinary cohort!)
