OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified and Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our expanding team at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is an incredible growth opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychologist to lead neuropsychology and support both our PM&R and Behavioral Health service lines at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, days position working with significant autonomy in inpatient units with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, APRNs, licensed clinical social workers, and registered nurses. The ideal candidate will be adept at evaluating individuals with a variety of common conditions, including TBI/ concussion, stroke, dementia, and neuropsychiatric disorders.

The Neuropsychologist will perform a wide variety of duties involving neuropsychological assessment including direct patient care (conducting clinical interviews; administering neuropsychological tests); patient assessments; integrating historical information with clinical observations and test data to arrive at a comprehensive formulation and diagnosis; maintaining accurate documentation; and consulting with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues. There is opportunity for outpatient exposure in our TBI/Concussion clinic if outpatient experience is desired, but the primary responsibilities will be inpatient.
