At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.  This position is responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. In this position you will utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core valuesWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred* Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred* Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy required* Master's degree preferred* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required* Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months required Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly). We are looking for a therapist that has acute care experience.  The team rotates through the holiday requirement (one summer and one winter holiday).  We also rotate through weekends (3 weekends in a 12 week schedule).  Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen. St. Francis Medical Center features 172-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Care Unit, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life® Colorado air medical helicopter service.
