Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with Colorado State Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and Centura policies and standards of care. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.* Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.* Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.* Current Colorado State License in one of the following disciplines: * Clinical Psychologist (PSY), * Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), * Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).* Experience in Intensive Outpatient Programs preferred* BLS from the American Heart Association* Two Years Experience Providing Substance Use Disorder Treatment RequiredMedium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (Days/Evenings)The core hours are for the groups are Mon, Wed, Thurs 6PM-9PM.Your Connected Community:Located in central Denver's historic Washington Park residential neighborhood, Porter Adventist Hospital associates enjoy beautiful surroundings, leading technology, outstanding leadership, and easy access to everything great central Denver has to offer.
