At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.  Job Description:* The Supervisor Laboratory role is a leadership position responsible for operational management of the clinical laboratory. * Responsible for direct leadership of technical associates and may include pre-analytic supervision as determined by site. * Performs all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. * Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to testing and clinical relevance. * Functions in a self-directed manner, and exhibits effective communication and advanced problem solving skills.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  * 3 years of MLS, MT, or MLT work experience in the clinical laboratory required.* Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Equivalent required* MLS with ASCP certification, or MT/MLT with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification, or specialty ASCPcertification in the assigned department.* Blood Bank Experience preferred.Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
