Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, a physician-led, accountable, 500+ provider, multispecialty group practice is seeking a geriatrician at our multi-disciplinary practice in Boise, Idaho. 

• Innovate clinic model with collaborative team of Geriatricians, Internal Medicine, Extensivists, Palliative Care, Social Work, and in-clinic Pharmacist
• 6-10 patients a day, visits are 1.5 - 2 hours (for new patients) and 45-60 minutes (follow-up)
• Located on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus with close proximity to a variety of sub-specialties and services 
• EPIC EMR
• Opportunity to consult in nearby communities (Nampa - 20 minutes from Boise & Caldwell - 30 minutes from Boise)

Schedule:

• Outpatient only, M-F, 34 patient contact hours
• Call is 1:8, phone only

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
• Geriatrics Expertise:
• Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or
• Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), or
• Certification in the Subspecialty of Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
• Obtain such certification within 3 years of employment, or
• Ten years of practice experience devoted primarily to the care of older patients
• Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Cente
