Northern Light Home Care and Hospice is seeking a part-time, hospice physician medical director for their state-wide hospice program.  The right candidate would develop and maintain a working rapport with all staff, physicians, advanced practitioners, and clinical agencies.  Guidance will be provided in setting policies, performing remote consultations, and responsible for the medical oversight of patient care for the state-wide hospice program, and this position can be located anywhere within the state of Maine.   There is a high level of schedule flexibility and there is no travel required.  Here at HCH, we actively assist clients and families to achieve their highest level of personal health and independence.  The focus would be on clarification of patient and family goals of care, patient safety, appropriate coordination of care and patient self-management opportunities, all while delivering professional, high-quality care.  Come join our team, where you truly can make a difference in our community.
