Pediatric Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

The Pediatric Palliative and Comfort Care Team (PACT) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join a well-established, robust pediatric palliative care program.  Physician responsibilities include leading an inpatient palliative care/palliative pain consultative service, outpatient visits in clinic, and management of patients admitted to StarShine hospice including home visits for these children.  Division members are also responsible for participation in research as well as oversight and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The PACT team is housed in the Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pain Management.  Our multidisciplinary team is currently comprised of five physicians, all of whom are boarded in Palliative Medicine, two fellows, 4 nurse practitioners, 2 social workers, and a nurse coordinator.  

Qualifications and Experience

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Experience in palliative care
• Board certified or board eligible in Palliative Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, or Anesthesiology. 
• Academic appointment through the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine.
