This position functions as a quality and performance excellence resource for the maternal child health units as assigned. Incorporates evidence-based practice standards into appropriate settings. Leads or actively participates in performance improvement projects based on performance outcomes and or regulatory requirements. Assesses the educational needs of the nursing staff and provides support to the Maternal Child Clinical Nurse Specialists for education as appropriate to meet the needs of the organization.
