Regardless of location, your shift will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish in your role and leaders that care about your success. The Phlebotomy Services Tech is responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site. This role also provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information. *The Phlebotomy Services Tech has the following duties:** Consistently complies and reviews LIS reports to ensure all samples are collected and processed in appropriate time frame* Ensures quality collection of specimens including appropriate sample container, sample volume, collection priority, andsample identification.* Receives specimens, assesses priority, assures appropriate specimen identification and appropriate specimen type. May include ordering and processing of hospital registered and outreach patients.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Phlebotomy Services Techs will bring the following: * 6 months Phlebotomy work experience preferred* High school diploma or GED required * Completion of a phlebotomy program preferred* Phlebotomy certification preferredPhysical Requirements - Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently) Schedule: TBD; Rotating Weekends and Holidays.Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
