St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a part-time Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics physician to join the team at Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center located in Schenectady, New York.

Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center has been providing long term care in the Schenectady community since 1989 and rehabilitation services since 2001. The facility is an 82-bed skilled nursing facility and short-term rehabilitation center consisting of three units - two long term care and one rehabilitation. We pride ourselves in promoting dignity, respect, individuality, and quality of life. Our rehab program provides service for individuals who have been referred by their physician for one or many types of therapy, including IV, physical, occupational and speech therapy. We also manage medication adjustments and wound care with the goal of the patient being able to return home.

Opportunity Details:

• In person rounding once a week for 2-4 hours
• Case load of approximately 27-33 rehabilitation residents
• On call every other weekend (phone call only)
• Take own calls during the week for your residents for any issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• NYS Physician License
• Open to all experience levels
• Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
