Providence's Department of Medical Education is seeking an exceptional General Internist to join the Providence Portland Internal Medicine Residency Program in a mixed faculty/clinical role. This department is made up of a collaborative group of clinician educators who are passionate about training the next generation of physicians. Our program of 30 residents and 13 core clinician faculty emphasizes mentorship, role modeling, and rigorous clinical experiences that balance clinical exposure in a variety of settings (including outpatient medicine, inpatient medicine, and subspecialties) with an understanding of a patient-centered care model, evidence-based medicine, and a focus on quality improvement.
