MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer competitive base salary of $1.1 million with 2-yr income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance $15,000, CME $5000 and Time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, malpractice with tail coverage, 403(b) and so much more!

Opportunity Details:

Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service
Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days
No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call
Dedicated Clinic RN for each Physician
Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call
APP's primary assist with daily inpatient rounding
On site X-Ray, CT and MRI/ Functional MRI
Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR
EMR : CERNER Moving to EPIC Fall 2025

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a 550 bed Level II Trauma center that has been faithfully serving the community since 1893 and has a tertiary service area of 1.4 million.  Named to the Becker's Healthcare 100 great hospitals in America list    Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center offers central Iowa's only Gold Seal of Approval and Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center.
