Medical Director for Inpatient Palliative Care - DC/Metro Area
MedStar Health is recruiting a medical director to join a high-functioning inpatient palliative care team at MedStar Southern Maryland Medical Center located in the DC/Metro area. The team includes social work, chaplaincy, APP, MD. Ideal candidate will have experience leading an interprofessional team. About MedStar Health: we are a 10-hospital system in the DC/Baltimore region. About our Palliative Care Teams: Our nearly 100 clinicians work in interdisciplinary teams across our nine acute care hospitals. Our inter-disciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains and administrative roles.
