Position Overview:
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice Medicine physician to join our growing medical group in the Hospice and Palliative Medicine department. You will work as part of our 18-clinician Palliative department in Portland, Oregon. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and palliative care medical skills. Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Board Eligibility is required. Completion of an HPM fellowship is strongly preferred.

Our Hospice program supports patients in the greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA areas. We are hiring for our Portland Westside Interdisciplinary Hospice team. This role comprises a mix of virtual work and home visits. It is a collegial, group practice with 5 dedicated Hospice physicians and a Nurse Practitioner.

This is an exciting time to work in the Department of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Northwest Permanente. Kaiser Northwest has its own hospice program, integrated clinic-based palliative care and home-based palliative care, as well as an inpatient consultation service. The opportunities for palliative care clinicians are challenging and varied, and there is broad institutional support for our mission. We place a strong emphasis on a team-first, collaborative approach. In this role, you will practice in a supportive and collegial environment as an essential member of the care team.

$247,281 - $298,000 - Projected Annual Total Rewards Value*

• Salary: $184,500 - $209,520 (.90 FTE)
• 36-hour work week
• Additional 21% employer contribution to retirement programs, including pension (This is not a match; NWP contributes an additional 21% of clinician earnings to retirement programs regardless of employee contribution)
• 90%+ employer paid health plan
• Paid annual education leave + $1800.00 annual education allowance
