By reprocessing of endoscopes, they must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to preclean, leak test, decontaminate, inspect, disinfect, transport and store endoscopes in accordance with industry standards, guidelines and regulations and manufacturer's instructions for use. Job Function: 02. Demonstrates responsibilities as an endoscopy technician by providing assistance to the nurses and physician
