The inpatient and home hospice physician is an experienced, collaborative leader who works in concert with Hospice of the Chesapeake’s (HOC’s) medical staff.  This physician models excellence during the entire course of care, beginning at admission through case management and eventually transitioning caregivers into bereavement services.  This physician exercises care plan oversight and ensures the highest quality hospice care is delivered at HOC’s Charles Inpatient Care Center (CICC) facility in Waldorf, Maryland, where the position is based.  This physician leads the corresponding regional interdisciplinary hospice team and may support palliative and population health initiatives as needed.  They  provide daily direct patient care in t
