Join our compassionate team at Indiana University Health Medical Group East Central Region! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team in Palliative Care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, critical thinking skills, and be a proactive team-player. Our team focuses on care that meets patients and family where they are in their journey.  We meet daily to debrief about patients and seek guidance from each other as needed.

Position Details:

• Full-time, Day Shift 
• 8:00am-4:30pm (flexible as needed with on-call rotation)
• Rotating monthly after-hours call 
• Practice with 2 Physicians 
• 100% inpatient

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct patient assessments including: H&Ps, discharge summaries, per visit documentation, medication/symptom management, interdisciplinary team participation.
• Lead goals of care conversations with patients and families 
• No procedural requirements 

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree required
• ACNP, FNP, PA, PMHNP, or WHNP certification required 
• Ideal candidate will have: Palliative/Hospice, ICU, Oncology, or Critical Care experience as an RN or APP
